YWomenVote2020: A National Conversation with America’s Women

As we head into the final weeks of YWCA’s 2020 Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts, our nation faces extraordinary challenges. A global pandemic, an economic crisis, and a reckoning with systemic racism have heightened what’s at stake in this election and exacerbated voting barriers for people of color with new and often confusing election procedures that vary from state to state.

During October, YWCA is making 5 stops in our National Conversation with America’s Women, convening virtual town hall meetings for the women of Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Our goal?

  • Raise women’s voices so our concerns and priorities are heard by voters and candidates
  • Share *new* state-specific polling on women’s concerns and priorities about economic challenges, child care, and racial justice
  • Put accurate information about the election process directly in the hands of voters

Whatever state you’re from, there’s a place for you in these extraordinary conversations.
