Día de los Muertos is a vibrant celebration in Latinx and Indigenous traditions that is held from October 28 - November 2 each year to honor ancestors and foster intergenerational healing.

Vote for your ancestors.

Dia de los Muertos Get Out the Vote (GOTV)

Vote for your future.

When we vote, we are exercising a hard won right to select the leaders who shape our communities, states, and nation.
Voting can also allow us to honor the struggles, celebrations, and lives of those who have come before us, and continue their work as part of our own.

The YWCA Día de los Muertos (DDLM) Get Out the Vote (GOTV) project centers civic engagement through creative, artistically expressive expression that honors the rich cultural traditions of Día de los Muertos through voter mobilization, education, celebration, and reflection. As a key component of YWCA’s voter engagement work across the country, YWCA Día de los Muertos GOTV focuses in on the power of the Latinx, Indigenous, and BIPOC vote, and the bonds shared across communities of color. We invite you to join us.
